Tendulkar, Harbhajan lead MI to good score


Mumbai, Mar 28: Sachin Tendulkar continued his sublime form with his fourth Indian Premier League III half century but Mumbai Indians needed a quickfire 18-ball unbeaten 49 from Harbhajan Singh to post a competitive 172 for 7 against Deccan Chargers here today.
Captain Tendulkar, who hit nine fours in his 43-ball 55, stood tall to make his fourth half-century in six matches after his team was asked to take first strike by the defending champions at the D Y Patil Stadium in NaviMumbai.
A determined and reshuffled Deccan Chargers bowling attack chipped away relentlessly to trigger a collapse before Harbhajan Singh's 18-ball cameo which had eight fours and two sixes helpedMumbai Indians reached a competitive total. -
